Account and data deletion
You can request the deletion of your RaceBase account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to send the request, what gets deleted and the processing times.

How to request deletion
Send an email to support@racebase.it from the address associated with your RaceBase account.
Subject: "Account deletion request".
In the body of the message indicate: full name, account email, name of your ski club (if athlete or coach) and explicit confirmation of the intent to delete the account.
The RaceBase team verifies the request and processes it within 30 days of receipt, in compliance with GDPR.
Deleted data
User profile: name, email, password (hash), role, phone, address, date of birth.
For athletes: athlete record, FIS code, category, primary discipline, profile photo.
Generated content: personal training logs, poll votes, event RSVPs, video comments, coach notes.
Videos uploaded by the user on their own account.
Authentication tokens, push notification tokens and notification logs associated with the account.
AI request logs related to the user.
Data retained for legal obligations or legitimate interest
Some data may be retained in aggregated or anonymised form for statistical and security purposes.
Technical and audit logs may be retained for the period necessary to protect the service (maximum 12 months).
Any data related to payments or invoicing may be retained for the tax obligations required by Italian law (10 years).
Support communications archived for the handling of prior complaints may be retained for limited periods.
Timing and confirmation
The request is processed within 30 days of identity verification.
Upon completion you will receive a confirmation email at the address associated with the account.
Deletion is irreversible: data cannot be restored after removal.
